ALP FEDERAL ELECTION PROMISES 2007

  • $10 million towards a $20 million desalination plant at Wellington Dam
  • $49 million towards the Harvey Water Piping Project;
  • $200,000 for the development of a Water Cycle Management Plan
  •  $160m for the competition of the Perth Bunbury Highway
  • $136 million towards Bunbury Port Access Road and Outer Ring Road  
  • $4.7 billion to establish the National Broadband Network to connect 98 per cent of Australians to high speed broadband internet services at a minimum of 12 megabits per second
